Cappadocia University is extending its research, development, and education expertise in sustainable tourism across Europe through the Sustainable Ecotourism Awareness (SEA) project, supported by the European Union.
The project aims to increase awareness of sustainability among small and medium-sized tourism businesses in Europe, document and disseminate best practices, thereby strengthening both service quality and environmental and social sustainability.
Cappadocia University will play an active role in many areas within the scope of the project, from the design of the training programs to be developed, to the preparation of online course content and the final evaluation processes. Furthermore, awareness surveys for businesses across Europe will be prepared under the coordination of our university.
Through these efforts, best practices in ecotourism will become measurable, shareable, and disseminated, while aiming to make concrete contributions to the sustainable transformation of the tourism sector.
