Our center, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has initiated a series of studies aimed at increasing Turkey’s international tourism competitiveness.
One of these is the work to improve Turkey’s ranking in the Tourism and Travel Competitiveness Index, published biennially by the World Economic Forum.
As is known, as of 2019, Turkey, which ranks 6th in the world in terms of tourist numbers, ranks 43rd in terms of competitiveness. The basis of this project is to work on updating, revising, and improving the data related to Turkey in the 90 parameters that make up the competitiveness index published by the World Economic Forum.
