Green Transformation in Tourism: Sustainable Practices and Carbon Footprint Measurement in Hotels
The Green Transformation in Tourism: Sustainable Practices and Carbon Footprint Measurement in Hotels project is an initiative carried out in collaboration with the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and aims to promote sustainability in the tourism sector.
Within the scope of the project, data will be collected from selected pilot hotels and transferred to the carbon footprint measurement portal being prepared by the TGA. This portal will create a platform where hotels, and later all tourism stakeholders, can enter their own data and measure their carbon footprints.
Thus, the goal is to increase environmental awareness in the sector and to promote the widespread adoption of sustainable practices.
