The Sustainable Tourism Destination Assessment Project is a project that evaluates the Birgi and Side destinations according to GSTC (Global Council for Sustainable Tourism) criteria to assess their compliance with sustainable tourism principles.
The aim of the project is to determine the compliance of these destinations with environmental, cultural, and economic sustainability standards, and to encourage and develop sustainable tourism practices.
