The Center for Social and Strategic Studies Application and Research was established on November 21, 2018. Its purpose is to contribute to the studies, research, policy development processes, and implementation of Cappadocia University’s work on social issues.
The Center conducts research that contributes to the identification of strategic priorities in areas such as development, foreign policy, security, economy, foreign trade, industry, and agriculture, and provides long-term policy recommendations for these priorities. Another objective of the Center is to identify the fundamental social, economic, demographic, and cultural problems of the Cappadocia region, to produce projects aimed at addressing these problems, and to conduct field research.
The Center supports the University’s educational activities in these areas, provides consultancy services, and conducts academic research, sharing its findings with the public.
