The Center for Social and Strategic Studies Application and Research was established on November 21, 2018. Its purpose is to contribute to Cappadocia University’s studies, research, policy development processes, and implementation efforts in the field of social issues.
The Center conducts research that contributes to the identification of strategic priorities in areas such as development, foreign policy, security, economy, foreign trade, industry, and agriculture, and provides long-term policy recommendations regarding these priorities. Another objective of the Center is to identify the fundamental social, economic, demographic, and cultural problems of the Cappadocia region, to develop projects aimed at addressing these problems, and to conduct field research.
The Center supports the University’s educational activities in these areas, provides consultancy services, conducts academic research, and shares its findings with the public.
