The Center for Social and Strategic Studies Application and Research was established in 2018. Its purpose is to contribute to the studies, research, policy development processes, and implementation of Cappadocia University’s work on social issues.

The Center conducts research that contributes to the identification of strategic priorities in areas such as development, foreign policy, security, economy, foreign trade, industry, and agriculture, and provides long-term policy recommendations for these priorities. Another aim of the Center is to identify the fundamental social, economic, demographic, and cultural problems of the Cappadocia region, produce projects to address these problems, and conduct field research.

The Center supports the University’s educational activities in these areas, provides consultancy services, and conducts academic research, sharing its findings with the public.
