Hatay Tourism Master Plan

The Hatay Tourism Master Plan (2025–2030), prepared by Cappadocia University, was presented to the Mayor of Hatay Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Mehmet Öntürk. The presentation outlined a strategic framework aimed at preserving and promoting the historical, cultural, and natural assets of the region through sustainable tourism development. The plan, structured around thematic priorities and actionable projects, was developed through a participatory and integrated planning approach. It aspires to contribute to Hatay’s local development and enhance its long-term brand value as a distinctive tourism destination.
