Konya Tourism Master Plan 2025-2030: Ministerial Presentation

The Konya Tourism Master Plan 2025–2030, prepared leveraging our University’s academic expertise and experience, was presented to the Ministry at a meeting convened at the Mevlâna Cultural Center. The session was honored by the presence of the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, and attended by local administrators and industry representatives. This study, in which our University was represented by Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal, and Res. Asst. Fatıma Tüzzehra Albayrak, prioritizes Konya’s cultural and natural assets. Encompassing destination management, infrastructure, promotional strategies, and sustainable tourism objectives, the plan aims to provide a long-term and holistic perspective to the city’s tourism vision by fostering stronger collaboration between public institutions and sector stakeholders.
