Sivas Tourism Master Plan: Search Conference and Workshop

The Sivas Tourism Master Plan Search Conference and Workshop Program was executed with extensive stakeholder participation, organized in collaboration with the Sivas Governorship, Cappadocia University, and relevant local institutions. Representing our university, Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal, Lect. Avşin Ayhan, and Lect. Burcu Tezcan provided significant academic contributions to the program. Through fieldwork and concurrent sessions, the province's tourism potential was analyzed using a holistic approach across nine distinct thematic tables, including gastronomy, winter tourism, cultural heritage, and health tourism. The outputs, derived from the collective consensus of public and sector representatives, have established a scientific and actionable foundation for the Tourism Master Plan and Action Plan, which aim to enhance Sivas’s competitiveness and foster sustainable development.
