Prepared through the academic expertise and institutional experience of our university, the Amasya Tourism Master Plan was presented to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, during a high-level meeting attended by local administrators and industry stakeholders. Representing our university, the strategic study was spearheaded by a delegation comprising Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal, Lecturer Dr. Burcu Tezcan, and Res. Asst. Fatıma Tüzzehra Albayrak. This comprehensive framework addresses destination management, branding, and promotional strategies by centering on Amasya’s deep-rooted historical heritage, cultural fabric, and natural assets. Aiming to maximize cooperation and synergy between public and sector stakeholders, the plan was meticulously developed to impart a sustainable, competitive, and holistic perspective to the city’s long-term tourism vision.
